Book with confidence! After events, we ask our clients what they thought of our acts. We publish what they say here, so you can read genuine, unbiased feedback before booking.

“Thank you so much for making our celebration so fabulous! You creally got our party started and added a wow factor on top of all our other wow factors of the day. I know people are still talking about what a great party it was and even the Events Manager asked for your details so he could recommend you.”

Kate, Wedding, Manchester, April 2019

“Fantastic! So pleased we chose them, they were brilliant. Incredible sound and amazing vocals, they were really friendly to deal with and really chilled out but very professional which is exactly what you need on your wedding day. We had loads of great feedback about the band from guests - everyone really enjoyed it. Thank you!!!”

Katie & Joe, Wedding, Nantwich, June 2019

“We were thrilled! We thought they couldn't be as good as they sounded on their demos - but in fact they sounded identical! Their song choices were perfect for our mixed crowd, and they got everyone dancing. They were really easygoing and friendly too.”

Nicky, Wedding, Nottinghamshire, January 2019

“The band were excellent. We had 90 guests and everyone we spoke to thought they were amazing. They made sure everyone was having a great time, including the birthday boy. They were so polite and courteous to all of the guests - we all enjoyed it so much!”

Audrey, 60th Birthday party, West Sussex, June 2019

“The Capricorn’s are simply outstanding. Friendly, professional and all exceptional artists. Put all that together and you’re in for an absolute treat! Superb.”

Claire, Wedding in Chelmsford, July 2019

“Just to drop you a note to say how absolutely awesome the guys were last night the evening was incredible and being the harshest of critics when it comes to wedding music they were simply brilliant. Emma’s doing the feedback form and it will be 5* all round. I didn’t get a chance to say bye but please thank them from us.”

Craig & Emma, Wedding, London, July 2019

“Myself and the committee would like to pass on our thanks and best wishes for a fantastic performance on Saturday. Much fun was had by all and we very much look forward to seeing them again next month.”

June, Private Party in Surrey, December 2018

“The Capricorns are a fantastic band! Used them 3 times now for corporate events and will be booking again. Great energy, great voices and great sound. Brilliant band...”

Jackie, G18 Awards, The Hilton in London, November 2018

“I've been to a lot of weddings recently and to be fair, I didn't set the bar very high for them, but OMG!! Just wow, wow, wow!! They blew us away with their energy and had the dance floor heaving all night. Thank you so much and big love to the guys, we thought they were incredible!!”

Harriet, Wedding in Surrey, August 2018

“You made our wedding! All of our guests raved about you and the band. It was a long day for you but you were excellent throughout.”

Helen, Wedding in Surrey, August 2018

“We all thought you were amazing on Saturday night and a joy to work with, and we will be booking again next year!”

Paul, Wedding in London, June 2018

“Absolutely fantastic band, could not fault them. They really did make our wedding, and many of our guests plan to book them for their weddings. Liked their style online, then saw them play at a friend's wedding.”

Charity, Wedding in Essex, May 2018

“We booked the band after we saw their videos online. We loved the vibe and the set lists. On the night they were absolutely brilliant! The agency were also super helpful, kept us fully informed and put up with lots of queries. On the day they band were a dream: as is always the way we were running behind schedule. They were totally chilled, took it all in their stride and set up in a quiet professional manner. Their performance of our first dance was spot on and the whole set was brilliant - they had ALL our guests on the dance floor, including my granny who got onstage! Booking the band was a bit of a gamble as it wasn't a recommendation and the videos are limited online, but it paid off times 1000000!”

Charlotte, Wedding in London, April 2018

“Just a line to say thank you so much for recommending The Capricorns! We were a little concerned booking without seeing much footage, but they totally exceeded our expectations. Get them to sort a video!!! They're amazing and your site doesn't do them justice!”

Clare, Private Party in Hastings, February 2018

“Thank you, thank you thank you!!! You absolutely made our day and were the icing on the cake!”

Alice, Wedding in Kent, January 2018

“We loved the look of the band online as their set-list was great, the quality of the performances on their videos was superb and their reviews were very convincing. All of this turned out to be exactly the case on the night. What a band! They're undoubtedly the best wedding band I've ever seen perform. Everyone at the wedding couldn't stop telling us how good the band were. The band were one of the main reasons everyone will remember the day for a long time. The dancefloor was full throughout. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. If there's a better wedding band out there I'd love to hear them.”

Alex, Wedding in London, October 2017

“Such a great band, I can't wait to work with them again!”

Jackie, Awards Ceremony at The Hilton Park Lane in London, October 2017

“The band were phenomenal. We received so many compliments and can't imagine hiring any other band in the future. We apologise we didn't get a chance to tell them this in person on the day. The dance floor was packed all night!”

Rebecca, Wedding at The Great Tythe Barn in Gloucestershire, September 2017

“These guys were fantastic, friendly and helpful with the lead up and set up, then proceeded to play amazing music all night. They read the crowd perfectly and really went out their way to make our wedding perfect. Really professional, easy and fun to work with. Warmly recommend for any event. Superb.”

Mark, Wedding, West London, September 2017

“After a long and intensive spreadsheet-based investigation, we narrowed our choice of band down to The Capricorns due to their having the best arrangements, style, energy and attitude to match the sort of wedding we hoped to have. The band sounded tight and had their own particular style, not just another folk/festival setup, as good as many of the other options we were considering were. Even with a last-minute change of line-up due to illness, the band knocked it out of the park and completely made our evening reception. Every guest wanted to know who they were and where we found them and the dancefloor was packed from the first song. We squeezed every last encore possible and four weeks later people are still raving about how good the song choices and arrangements were.”

Richard, Wedding in London, August 2017
