The DBs are an outstanding brass covers band playing a mix of pop and funk favourites, afrobeats and altered jazz standardss. The band consists of traditional New Orleans style horn section instruments such as: trombones, trumpets, saxophones, sousaphone and drums. Their sound teleports this traditional approach to the 21st century!
The DBs are favourites on the festival circuit and are in great demand for private parties. They encompass great musicians from all over the world who are notorious for spreading smiles and dance moves across the party! High energy, charismatic and exuberant shows are their trademark.
The DBs are fully adaptable to any size and configuration suited to the event/venue. From a quintet sized stage band to a 10-piece marching band. Capable of playing anywhere; from large festival stages to roaming around street parties, The band is famous for drawing and captivating audiences in a huge variety of settings.

The DBs stage shows can feature guest singers, rappers or hype-man to further engage the audience. Many members of the brass band are virtuosos on their instruments and are featured with astonishing solos that blow the minds of audiences.
The DBs can also perform as roaming musicians around street parties and private parties. A unique selling point of this band is their ability to successfully lure crowds from one place to another in the pied piper style.
The DBs keep a clean and tidy appearance with trademark white shirts and burgundy braces, bridges the gap between aesthetic, chic and cool. Festival heavyweights Continental Drifts crowned the band winners of their 2019 Brass Battle competition at London Remixed Festival.
