Megan, Armit Wines Annual Tasting, September 2018

“The Richmond Jazz Trio were absolutely superb. Incredibly talented, professional musicians who gave our ceremony and reception drinks a real lift. All of our guests were telling us how amazing they were and wanted to know how we found them. We would highly recommend The Richmond Jazz Trio and Function Central. Thank you again! Maggie & Tim.”

Maggie & Tim, Wedding at Chippenham Park in Cambridgeshire, August 2018

“Great band who really lived up to our expectations and kept our evening going with excellent live music. Feedback from our guests was wholly positive - a great balance of tunes, played well by great and personable musicians. Worked with The Cool Cats to ensure with double sets each that we had live music all night.”

Paul, Stopgap's 25th Anniversary, Grays Inn in London, June 2018

“The band were very helpful in planning the music; they arrived promptly on the evening, were friendly and professional and gave an excellent performance. The band managed the choice of tracks, volume and tempo very well through the evening. Our guests were very complimentary and we were totally satisfied and would certainly book the Richmond Trio again.”

“Now we are back from honeymoon and into the swing of married life, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for your excellent work on our wedding day. You and your band were truly excellent. You exceeded our expectations and we have had so many kind words about you from the guests. Thank you for accommodating us when we over ran so graciously. Please pass on our thanks to your band mates who were equally fantastic. With our very best wishes.”

James & Nehali, Wedding in Kent, August 2016

“The Richmond Jazz Trio were absolutely brilliant at our anniversary party, which was a joint Silver and Diamond anniversary celebration, so spanning a wide age range! They played at a drinks reception and so many of our guests commented on how good the music was. They then organised the disco for the later part of the evening, which was also excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. We would thoroughly recommend them.”

Julie, Anniversary Party in Surrey, September 2016

“The guys were very professional, didn't need to be directed and just set up and started playing. Everyone thought they were great and they really added to the whole day!”

Nicholas, Wedding in Suffolk, October 2016

“The band were absolutely brilliant! They played the perfect songs for our wedding and everyone just loved them. Everything was perfect and the singer had an amazing voice! They all brought their own personal touch to the songs. They arrived on time and we were running late and they were able to work around the change of times. So Thank you so much everyone!”

Milly, Wedding in London, June 2016

“I have known the members of the Richmond Jazz Trio since they began their music degrees several years ago, and have been putting them forward for corporate and other locals gigs since they graduated, whenever I am asked to provide a small jazz ensemble (which, as one of the University's events organisers and Collegiate Music Administrator, I often am). I have found them to be constantly reliable, versatile, personable, smart and superb musicians. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any type of event.”

Richard, University Tutor, London, 2015

“I wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for playing at the reunion event we held last Thursday at the House of Commons, you were fantastic. We hope you enjoyed the event and we look forward to working with you again in the future.”

Kate, Reunion Party in London, September 2015

“I thought you guys were fantastic! You were friendly, well dressed and very professional. The music you played completed the sophisticated Hollywood ambience I was going for and set the mood perfectly for the rest of the evening. Many students and staff commented on your excellent performance and I would most definitely hire you again in the future!”

Louis, University Ball in London, July 2015

“I have had the pleasure of listening to the Richmond Jazz Trio on a number of occasions now, and have no hesitation in recommending them. They have an imaginative approach to their programme and an excellent rapport with each other and their audience; and they combine this with first-rate musicianship, both on their own and when joined by their guest trumpeter. In my opinion they deserve to be heard much more widely.”

Philip, Private Parties in Rutland, 2015

“After attending a number of local concerts where the Richmond Jazz Trio were playing, I was so impressed with their musicianship and eclectic playing that I hired them for several private parties. I was not disappointed! The Richmond Jazz Trio have provided the perfect music for every occasion and their guest trumpeter also added an additional exciting dimension. I would have no hesitation in hiring them again and recommending them to other interested parties.”

Marjorie, Private Parties in the Midlands, 2015
