The Singing String Quartet

The Singing String Quartet have formed from a group of good friends - they crossed paths through navigating their individual careers in the crazy and uncertain world of acting, but they share a united life long passion for creating music.

This passion, when paired with their lives as actors who have tread the boards of the West End, Shakespeare’s Globe, The Royal Shakespeare Company, The National Theatre and more, gives them their own unique style as a gigging musical ensemble. They have dedicated their lives to their trade, and truly love performing and playing together.

Their dynamic musicians and vocalists play across a range of genres and set ups, aiming to provide you with whatever style of music best befits your special occasion; however their signature move is to incorporate 4 part vocal harmonies into their arrangements where fitting.

This unique offering is a guaranteed head-turner; trust us! They also offer the timeless string quartet classical cannon, as well as a large repertoire of Irish trad, which is guaranteed to get any party going!

As musicians, past gigs have included Ed Harcourt Burberry Acoustic Session (Burberry); Michael Bublé on Strictly Come Dancing (ITV); Muse at the Brit Awards (ITV); and The Royal Variety Show (BBC).

Their experience onstage as both actors and musicians lends itself very naturally to performing at a range of different events and they are well adept at judging the needs of each, blending in sensitively and appropriately.
