The Wild Nights have a compelling live sound which will persuade even the shyest guest at your wedding to let their hair down!

Specialising in danceable rock and pop, they play a stomping set that includes vintage guitar-based classics by Hendrix and Elvis as well as a smattering of modern indie by The White Stripes, Kings of Leon.

Especially popular at boho and vintage-themed weddings, this Gloucestershire-based wedding band have performed at local venues such as Lantallack, Sopworth Manor and Priston Mill Farm, as well as further afield.

The band were nothing less than exceptional. I have had nothing but compliments from every single one of our guests for the choice of music! Stuart & Karina , Wedding, Somerset

The band are all talented songwriters as well as performers: their guitarist Jon recently collaborated with Elvis Costello and Christy Moore.

Bass player Chris has been performing with artists such as Noel McCoy, Vannessa Simon and Sam Lewis of KT Tunstall since his teens, and drummer Alan owns a rehearsal and recording studio that has produced work by singer-songwriter Tom Baxter and programmer Alexis Smith (Moulin Rouge and David Gray).

The band also offer their own pro laptop DJ service for a reduced fee, featuring mixed songs, a huge catalogue of music and laser lighting. This saves on the cost, hassle and venue space required when hiring a separate DJ. Ben and Jon are also available as an acoustic covers duo.

“We were very pleased with The Wild Nights, and would definitely recommend them. Thanks again for your help.”

Alan, Private Party in London, September 2019

“The band were nothing less than exceptional. From the weeks before when I was contacted by the guitarist, I felt like they were genuinely interested in what I wanted from the day. We kept them waiting till very late with regards to our first dance, but even two days before the wedding they were happy to accommodate. They arrived on time and in good form which any bride or groom will tell you is a massive reassurance. The space they were given to perform in was probably a little smaller than would have been optimum, but you would never have known. Our wedding breakfast overran slightly but even this didn't put them off. The first dance was excellent and considering it's a song that they usually perform as a duo, the whole band excelled. They even performed a second choice for us straight after which was a huge hit with everyone, filling the dance floor for the first, and definitely not only time of the night. I have had nothing but compliments from every single one of our guests for the choice of music, which helped make me feel like I had more to do with it than I really did. There was even a point in the night when the dance floor were on their knees bowing down to the bands excellence. Considering we had a guest list comprising of British and Danish family & friends this was no mean feat.”

Stuart & Karina, Wedding in Somerset, May 2018

“The band contacted us prior to event like they said and ran through the plans. Arrived and setup and were flexible with any timing requests. Quality and sound were excellent and I would thoroughly recommend the act to anyone. Guests and staff all commented on how impressed they were with the band.”

Graham, Wedding in Leicestershire, Feb 2018

“The act were superb and had everyone dancing throughout the night. The DJ service was also very good. The agency kept us up to date and provided all the necessary information.”

Sarah, Wedding at Berkeley Castle in Gloucestershire, December 2017

“I just wanted to say a huge thank you for creating the most wonderful atmosphere at our wedding. The acoustic music was simply beautiful and moved me, James and a number of our wedding guests to tears! The sets in the early afternoon were wonderfully relaxed and the evening sets totally rocked!! All of our guests were raving about how good the band was, you really did read the audience perfectly. Thank you for helping to make our day so perfect.”

Kristen, Wedding in Devon, September 2017

“The band were technically excellent and everyone loved them from the oldies to the younger guests. The dance floor was never empty when they were playing. They were easy to talk to and were a friendly group of guys. Wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone!”

Paul, Wedding in Devon, September 2017

“We couldn't be more happy with the band, they were amazing!!! From first contact they were easy to talk to, extremely cooperative and just great guys!! Everyone has commented on how good the band were. I've lost count of the amount of people who want to know where they are from and how to book them. The photographers loved them so much they want to put a hyperlink for the band on their website!”

Fred, Wedding in Somerset, June 2017

“Many many thanks to the very talented Wild Nights for playing the best sets at our wedding. There wasn't a centimetre of space on the dancefloor all night and they totally rocked the place - they are brilliant musicians and sounded amazing. We've had so many comments from guests about how fantastic they were. Thanks so much!”

Rachel, Wedding at Sopworth Manor in Wiltshire, September 2017

“The Wild Nights were brilliant. I must admit it feels fairly nerve-wracking giving a cheque over to someone you've only heard recordings of before, but from the first chord of the first song all doubts were blown away. Many guests commented later how good the band were, and from start to finish they had the whole room jumping. The set list was a perfect mix of classics and newer stuff, and the band were more than good enough to carry off the big songs (Paint it Black was a highlight). Worth every penny, highly recommended. Thanks, The Wild Nights!”

Harvey, Wedding in Bristol, July 2016

“We were very happy with The Wild Nights!”

Kylie, Wedding in Bristol, May 2016

“They were AMAZING!! Such a nice group, lovely to speak with beforehand. Loads of our guests came up to us at the wedding to ask how we found them and to say how great they were, and we are still getting compliments a few days on!”

Louise, Wedding in Brecon, August 2016

“We were both delighted with the Wild Nights, many of our friends and family commented on how much they enjoyed the band. I spoke to a band member beforehand and explained how I wanted a relaxed feel to our wedding and could give him only a little information about time schedules ect. On the day the band were brilliant they knew exactly when and what to play to really get the party going, they gave us a fantastic end to the day.”

Mr & Mrs Wood, Wedding in London, August 2015

“A week has now passed and we are beginning to feel that normal service is being resumed. Last week, you visited sleepy Barford to help us celebrate Tom and Anna's wedding day. For us, this was our third wedding celebration, two daughters and finally our son Tom. For each wedding we followed the same format walk to church and back to a marquee in the pub garden. We do only live over the road from the pub! The big difference was that this was the first time we had booked a band and what a band you turned out to be! We had suggested months earlier that this be a good idea and Tom & Anna duly searched the internet to find someone suitable. He eventually played us your demo CD and we all had high hopes. Well, our high hopes were surpassed. From the very first cheerful meeting on arrival we felt reassured that thinks would go well and they certainly did. We all loved the choice for the first dance and gave the evening a great start. As the dancing went on it got better and better well apart from John's 'I'm a believer!' Your sound, excellent choice of music and cheerful presentation went a long way towards making a very memorable day for us all. Thank you very much and we wish you much success in the future.”

Jeff & Carolyn, Wedding in Oxon, June 2014

“Wild Nights were booked for our children's joint 21st and 18th but with a splattering of adults also in attendance. The band really made the party with loads of people saying what a great atmosphere they had created. They were very flexible to the nature of the party (informal and fun!) but also had a good play list that had everyone dancing. I would highly recommend them. I was also grateful for the efficient service and back up provided by Function Central.”

Toby, 18th & 21st Birthday Party in Bath, June 2014

“Amazing band and fabulous musicians - the lead singer has got a really stunning voice and the guys are all so nice and don't look cheesy on stage!”

Roy, Club Manager, London, June 2014

“Thank you so much for performing at our wedding, you were absolutely fantastic and all our guests have commented on how good you were. You really did make our evening and I will be recommending you to anyone in need of a fantastic wedding band for sure!”

Victoria, Wedding in London, December 2013

“The Wild Nights were absolutely brilliant. The music was brilliant and all of our guests were up and dancing on the dance floor. The guys were friendly, approachable and also extremely accommodating and we had a fabulous time because of their wonderful music. I will be recommending to all my friends and family!”

Dan & Jen, Wedding in London, September 2013
