Wildwood Folk

from£920

This is the act's lowest available price for a local performance by their smallest line-up. It does not include any travel costs.

Please note that many acts charge higher rates for events taking place on Fridays and Saturdays in summer.

Wildwood Folk are a talented 4-piece performing traditional and modern folk from The Dubliners, The Pogues and Damien Rice as well as folk-inflected pop from Cat Stevens and Van Morrison through to The Lumineers, Mumford & Songs and other bands of the recent indie folk scene.

Originally a duo, the band now artfully weave male and female vocals, banjo, squeezebox, bass and drums to create a rip-roaring, barn-storming sound that will have your guests piling onto the dancefloor!

Members of the band have won praise from modern folk hero Seth Lakeman and have featured on the BBC performing their original songs.

“Wildwood Folk were so professional and accommodating from the first point of contact to the end of their final set. They sounded fantastic and gave us so much advice and choice in terms of their sets. Highly recommended - our only regret is that we didn't hear more of them as the official photos clashed with their set!”

“The band was fantastic and all our friends said how brilliant they thought they were. The dancefloor was full the entire time they played and they created a brilliant atmosphere. They sounded very professional. They were a great fit for our barn wedding and would recommend them to anyone looking for something more authentic and not too overpowering either. Please pass on our thanks!”
