We chose Morgans Hotel in Swansea for our wedding, and it was the perfect choice. The venue is absolutely beautiful — elegant, stylish, and incredibly accommodating to all of our requests. Being local to us was also a big bonus. We’ve always admired Morgans for its sophisticated charm, and seeing it come to life on our wedding day made it even more special. The staff were fantastic, helping to ensure everything ran smoothly, which allowed us to truly enjoy the day without worrying about the details.

Our focus was on creating a wedding party where everyone could have a great time and dance the night away. While we wanted the day to feel special and celebratory, the priority was fun and memorable moments for ourselves and our guests. We aimed for a relaxed, joyful atmosphere that encouraged everyone to let loose, enjoy the music, and celebrate together — and that’s exactly what happened.

Being a musician myself, I’ve always wanted live music at my wedding. There’s something about the energy of a live performance that can’t be replicated by a DJ or a backing track — it really gets people dancing and creates unforgettable memories.

We chose The Crossfades because their repertoire matched my taste perfectly. They cover a ‘rockier’ style of music while still including songs everyone can enjoy, which meant all our guests could get involved. On the day, they completely delivered — engaging, talented, and full of energy, they transformed the venue into an electric party space that everyone loved.

One of the highlights for me personally was getting to play a few songs with the band. Performing in front of all our friends and family on our wedding day is an experience I’ll never forget — it was incredibly special and a moment I could never recreate.

Beyond that, watching everyone enjoying themselves on the dance floor, singing along, and celebrating together made the whole day feel magical. The combination of the venue, the music, and the atmosphere created memories we’ll treasure forever.

I found Function Central through an online search and was immediately impressed with how the site presented its bands. Compared to other sites, it was much easier to listen to demos, watch performance videos, and get a real feel for each act before booking.
