Our wedding took place at Rowton Hall Hotel and Spa in Chester, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we first visited, we fell in love with the venue — it combines original architectural features with modern design in such a unique way. The ballroom in particular is stunning, with a warm, elegant atmosphere that immediately made us feel this was the place for our wedding. The property has so much character, and the combination of historic charm and contemporary touches made it ideal for both our ceremony and reception.
Our wedding theme was inspired by my vintage lace wedding dress. We wanted something classic, timeless, and elegant, but still simple and stylish. Lace details featured throughout the décor — from the chair covers to the top and bottom tiers of our cake, and even on the vases used for the centrepieces. The overall effect was romantic and cohesive, perfectly complementing the vintage-meets-modern feel of the venue. It looked amazing, and guests commented on how beautiful and personal the details felt.
We had seen Hudson perform at a friend’s wedding three years ago and were blown away by them. Ever since, we knew that if we ever needed a rock and pop party band in the North West, they would be the only choice. We wanted a band that would bring energy, get everyone dancing, and create a party atmosphere — Hudson exceeded every expectation.

Of course, seeing all our friends and family enjoying themselves and dancing to Hudson’s amazing set was another unforgettable part of the day. Moments like these made our wedding feel lively, fun, and full of joy.
