Tom Edwards is an extraordinary solo pianist and accompanist that plays background, cocktail-style music for a variety of different functions.

He is a favourite at weddings, playing for the ceremony, reception, wedding breakfast or any combination of the three. He also plays for birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas parties, funerals and christenings and other private events, such as dinner parties or corporate events.

Beautiful pianist! We absolutely loved his playing, it totally made our drinks reception! Claire, Wedding, London

Tom has a large and varied repertoire which covers everything from classical to modern pop and film music. He is always happy to learn new music for clients and can take requests when he is at the venue as well.

Tom has his own electric piano that he uses at venues that don't have a piano. He can also be booked to bring a second electric piano if he is required to play across different rooms at a venue.

In addition to his solo work, Tom also performs as an accompanist, for local choirs and other musicians, for example at weddings or for graded exams.

Book with confidence! After events, we ask our clients what they thought of our acts. We publish what they say here, so you can read genuine, unbiased feedback before booking.

“We hired Tom to play the grand piano at our venue. Tom was very helpful and professional throughout our communications with him, to help us plan the music for our event. We chose Tom because we liked the sample music included in his profile and his music style suited the tone/themes of our wedding and the venue. We provided a list of suggested songs/pieces which Tom played on the day. It was great to hear some of our favourite music played on the piano. The piano music provided a wonderful backdrop atmosphere for our wedding drinks reception, after our ceremony - thanks Tom!”

Katy, Wedding Reception, Hurley, August 2019

“Tom was relaxed, friendly and really helped create the right ambience at my 65th birthday party. He played at the start as guests arrived and he was really good at judging how to shift the atmosphere as the evening progressed.”

Michael, Birthday Party, Kew, June 2019

“We booked Tom to come and play for my mother in law's 90th birthday champagne afternoon tea on Sunday. He helped to create a perfect atmosphere for the day. Gentle chatter, afternoon tea, vintage china (from Timeless-Tea) and beautiful tunes! Thank you Tom. I highly recommend him.”

Isobel, Birthday Party, Chessington, June 2019

“Tom was incredibly professional and helpful from start to finish. He catered to exactly what we wanted for our special day and made last minute adjustments when needed. Our guests complimented the beautiful songs that Tom played and he brought a beautiful presence to the ceremony. We would highly recommend and look forward to replaying the beautiful CD Tom made for us so we can re imagine the day! Thank You!”

Chantelle, Wedding Ceremony, Bordon, May 2019

“My brother & sister-in-law kindly offered to pay for a musician to play at our marriage ceremony. We choose Tom Kelsey after listening to his You-Tube postings and thought he sounded good. We are pleased to say Tom arrived on time and played the grand piano in hotel beautifully, playing all the pieces we had chosen from his repertoire, at the required timings for our ceremony and the wedding breakfast afterwards. Tom's playing help set the atmosphere in the room for both parts of our special day, we cannot thank him enough - it was really beautiful playing and we would definitely recommend Tom to anyone else who is looking for a true professional. Thank you Tom you were brilliant and we could here the words to the music playing in our heads which meant so much to us.”
