Our wedding took place at the beautiful Pendrell Hall in Staffordshire.

We were extremely happy with The Misfits, the singer has an amazing voice!

The venue was perfect. We had both the ceremony and reception there and most of the guests could sleep on site. The grounds were lovely and the staff were very flexible.

The reception was inspired by a winter wonderland, with lots of lights and candles and a relaxed atmosphere.

We had an acoustic band during the day. We wanted something relaxed and informal to start off with.

We had a mariachi band after the wedding breakfast and before the evening band started. We didn't want there to be a lull at all and this really helped keep the guests entertained!

We booked The Misfits for our evening band having found them online using a search for wedding bands in the West Midlands.

The Misfits kept the entertainment going, playing music to suit all ages and got everyone dancing.

We were extremely happy with The Misfits. They were really flexible and the singer has an amazing voice!

It's hard to pick a favourite moment of the day as we loved everything, but particularly walking down the aisle and the warmth and love felt during the ceremony.

Other special moments were when our guests greeted us into the ballroom – the room looked amazing! And the shocked looks on our guests' faces when they saw the mariachi band!

Our advice to other couples planning a wedding would be to just go with what you want and what you will enjoy, but also to think about your guests. It was amazing to see all our guests dancing and enjoying themselves.

Also, the music is such an important factor, finding the right band will make the day really special!
