Melrose is composed of fiddle, keyboard and drums. Their dance caller is skilled and enthusiastic – her clear directions and positive attitude mean anyone can join in, no matter their previous experience.

A combined ceilidh/disco option can be provided, ensuring your guests have a varied mix of music to suit all ages – ideal for weddings and parties. The band will bring additional coloured lighting to set the mood for the disco set.

The Melrose Ceilidh Band can even turn their hand to jazz – book their 60-minute set of mellow jazz standards during your drinks reception or meal, or while your venue is filling up for the ceilidh.

The band comes fully self-contained with lights and PA system and will keep volume levels sufficiently high for for dancing but not so high that conversations can’t be had over the music.
