Ellie & Barry

We held our reception at Northcote House near Ascot, in Berkshire. The venue interior has a stunning "castle" feel which really suited our theme.

We could not have asked for a better live band for our wedding reception than The Bees!

We chose a Harry Potter theme (classy version rather than kids' party!) and included the Harry Potter theme tune for when the Ellie walked down the aisle.

We chose The Bees band for the evening reception based on their song list, videos on the internet, and variety of genres that they covered that gave something for every guest.

Our favourite moment was Barry, the lead singer of The Bees, performing an acoustic version of Goo Goo Dolls' Iris for our first dance - absolutely awesome performance!

All of our guests, from teenagers to pensioners, commented on what a fantastic band they are, and we had people on the dance floor from the first song to the last song.

We could not have asked for a better live band for our wedding reception than The Bees. They are really talented musicians with great vocals that provided something for everyone.

We would also like to feedback on how seamlessly they transitioned from play live music to providing an excellent DJ set. They listened to requested song choices and played the music we wanted on our special day.

We found Function Central when searching for Berkshire wedding bands. Although they were based further south, they were happy to travel. We thought Function Central was the best site on the web to search for bands – very easy to use in terms of narrowing down bands that played in our location, within our budget.
