Hats & Uke Cockney duo are highly entertaining, extremely talented uke, piano and vocals cabaret act.

Their singer and uke player has a diploma in acting and has years of performance experience including film, musicals, street theatre, original bands, covers bands, cabaret, voice overs, comparing, producing and performing her own shows.

Add to that a highly-trained classical pianist from the age of 5 who studied composition and counterpoint at the University of Edinburgh.

They’ve featured on the BBC 6, in several different UK and international bands, and performed classical, covers, hymns and original music at weddings, festivals, tours and concerts!

The duo have been filling London venues including Blacks Members Club, Battersea Barge, Madame Jojo’s, The Pheasantry, The Golden Eagle Pub, The Royal Oak in Tetbury, The Vineyard Spa, Kingston Theatre, Dead Dolls Club, The Great Exhibition Pub, Ten Green Bottles Bar, and Bar Kick playing all their sing-a-long cockney classics!

Clients include Chili Sauce Events, Disappearing Dining Club, London Fashion Week, Clerkenwell Vintage Fair and The Secret Garden Party.

TV appearances include Horizon, GMTV, This Morning, Frank Skinner’s ‘Opinionated’ and Dinner Date.

Please note that Hats & Uke require a fully working (all keys and sustain pedal) tuned piano and piano stool. If your venue are unable to provide this, they can organise hire of either an acoustic upright piano (within M25), or an electric stage piano (see prices below).

The duo perform acoustically for most small venues. However, if you're expecting more than approximately 50 guests we'd recommend hiring in PA, microphones, monitors and an audio engineer (not provided by the band).

“This original quirky duo captures the audiences attention from the very beginning. You can not fail to be wowed, sauced, witted and fully frisked with humour and above all so much talent! Sydney and Percy left us all wanting more and very much looking forward to their next visit at Ten Green Bottles...Love em!!”

Sarah, Ten Green Bottles Bar, Essex, March 2015

“Hugely funny down-to-earth sexy, carefree sing-a-long and improvised offbeat chat make Hats & Uke the go-to duo when you want to go snooker loopy nuts are we down the boozer. From vintage tunes and film classics, to pub Joanna hits a la Chas & Dave, plinky plonk, honky tonk, vaudeville and burlesque the virtuosity of this unruly and hilarious pair is mind-boggling. As well as acting as comperes for our Food & Love Quiz the guys ran rampant with a repertoire that showcased their unimaginable prowess on vocals, ukulele and our dear old pub piano. Waving your arms in the air like you don't care and having us all in stitches, as well as a variety of outrageous millinery, was the wondrous outcome for all who booked to come along as well those who stumbled into the magical world of Sidney & Percy when they performed recently. Can't wait to have you back again soon!”

Kate, Royal Oak Pub, Tetbury, September 2014

“Hats & Uke are simply delicious. Their songs are not only witty and sharp, but they have great, catchy pop hooks. And, of course, all delivered with an imagination, confidence and charm that are really irresistible.”

JS Rafaeli (Music Journalist), CRE8 Event Space, London, April 2013

“Hats & Uke are well worth seeing and hearing. The shows I've seen have been witty, original, charming and great fun and were woven into two well crafted performances. Such talent deserves the widest audience.”
