If it’s rustic countryside charm you’re after, look no further than Lyde Court in Herefordshire. At the heart of this bucolic west midlands wedding venue, you’ll find a charming 17th century barn surrounded by lush gardens and rolling hills. 

You can say ‘I do’ here in the stunning Rose Garden, on the picturesque front lawn, or in the barn itself. Post-ceremony drinks and canapés can be enjoyed in the enchanting secret garden or the peaceful Willow Lawn. After a fairy lit reception in the barn, you can retire to the charming bridal suite brimming with vintage décor and bags of period character. 

Situated just four miles north of Shropshire’s county town, Shrewsbury, in the rolling Shropshire hills Pimhill Barn is a pastoral dream. Originally built in 1584, it’s the oldest venue on our list but the facilities and attitudes at this gem are thoroughly 21st century. 

Pimhill Barn’s oak beams and exposed brick offers a blank canvas to create the day of your dreams. Licensed for alcohol and music until 1am, it’s the perfect place to dance the night away to your favourite party band or DJ. 

At the end of the night, you can kick off your dancing shoes in The Courthouse. A two-night stay here is included in the hire cost of the barn, so you won’t need to worry about where to get ready the night before or where to lay your head after the day’s celebrations. 

Set on the site of an 18th century water mill, The Mill Barns boasts one of the most idyllic locations on this list. The oak framed barns sit within eight acres of manicured gardens and are surrounded by the tranquil mill pond. 

You can say “I do” on the terrace that extends over the mill pond and sits in front of a backdrop of majestic mature trees. Alternatively, you can exchange your vows in the stunning Mill Wheel Barn with its vaulted, oak beamed ceiling and floor to ceiling windows. Guests will then be invited to join you in the Mill Pond Barn for a (corkage free!) celebration. After enjoying a bespoke menu, you can dance the night away on the oak-sprung floor as your wedding band take to the Mill Barns’ stage. 

Step into Victorian splendour at Pendrell Hall. Set on a six-acre estate this Codsall wedding venue will have you feeling like the lead in a period romance. 

Crenulations, large bay windows, oak panelled rooms, and stained-glass windows are just some of the notable features that make Pendrell Hall feel special. Traditional white weddings will feel right at home at this historic gem but that doesn’t mean the Pendrell Hall team’s offering is anything less than 21st century. 

With three stunning ceremony spots to choose from, an incredible ballroom with live band facilities for receptions and plenty of options to personalise the celebrations, modern couples can have the day of their dreams at Pendrell Hall. 

Combining country views with industrial aesthetics, Foxtail Barns is a unique wedding venue set within the Consall Nature Park area of natural beauty. 

Here you can marry in the botanical inspired brick and oak framed orangery. A wall of glass brings the beauty of the surrounding scenery in, allowing this stand-out setting to be enjoyed year-round. 

The Party Barn is the real jewel in the Foxtail crown if you ask us. A double-height vaulted ceiling is bedecked with fairy lights and modern chandeliers that illuminate the industrial beams and oak flooring below. As with the orangery, the beauty of Foxtail’s rural setting never feels far away thanks to windows that stretch from the floor to the vaulted ceiling. Here you can party the night away using the state-of-the-art in-built sound system. 

Bridgerton fans, the search for the perfect wedding venue is over. Davenport House is a Georgian dream, taken straight from the pages of a Jane Austen novel. Here you can descend the grand staircase and walk down the aisle in the Grand Hall where ancestral charm meets Instagram-worthy style. 

After saying your vows, you can dine in the elegant surroundings of the dining room with portraits in gilded frames adorning the walls and candelabras illuminating every table. Late into the night, you can retire to the ambient Nikki’s Bar for drinks and music.
