Constantly in demand, Pete studied jazz piano at the Royal Academy of Music in London in the early 90s. Since then, he has been busy both as a solo performer, leading his own trio and as a member of another jazz quartet.

Aside from his work as a wedding pianist, Pete has played for company balls and events for Marks and Spencers and Whitbread PLC.

Pete is professional and reliable and draws on a wide range of repertoire, including requests! Gemma Green, Assistant Manager, Restaurant

Pete's eclectic musical influences range from Steely Dan and Joni Mitchell to John Tavener and James MacMillan, as well as folk and ethnic traditions. As a jazz pianist, Pete draws inspiration from Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans as well as more current acts such as John Taylor and Keith Jarrett.

He recently released his debut album with his new trio, and his playing has been described by revered jazz pianist and broadcaster Julian Joseph as "lucid, imaginative and communicative".

“Pete played at our wedding recently and his music helped create a very special and memorable atmosphere. He played beautifully for us in the church and we then enjoyed some wonderfully cool jazz at our reception. So many of our friends and family have told us that the music was a key part of a day they'll always remember. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pete. Not only is he a gifted musician, he was also very professional to deal with and was happy to discuss a range of musical choices with us and make helpful suggestions.”

“The music is of the highest quality and we would happily recommend Pete. He has been extremely popular with the customers and also the team here and shall be missed. Pete is professional and reliable and draws on a wide range of repertoire, including requests. He's able to judge sensitively the right music for the occasion.”
