The Mustangs create a classy, slick, vintage sound that all ages will want to dance to - their music is universal, fresh and danceable and performed by fantastic young musicians based in the North West. Chic and cool, The Mustangs play primarily 60s pop, soul, 50s rock n roll, funk, jazz and blues. They also put their own vintage twist on a few modern chart hits.

With years of experience playing quirky covers, The Mustangs are a band who know how to fill a dancefloor. The two lead singers (who recently got married themselves) are best friends with the rest of the band, which creates a chemistry on stage that is infectious for all to see. The band appeared in the 2016 film 'Youth' alongside Michael Caine, Harvey Keitel and Jane Fonda. After their summer tour of Germany supporting Simply Red, they are set to release their first album in Germany in the Autumn. The Mustangs are not your average party band!

The Mustangs arrive in style with tweed suits, flat caps, and braces. They bring vintage equipment, mood-setting lighting and a full PA. The recorded music they play in between sets continues the cool vintage vibe so the whole night will see guests being transported to distant time periods when music shaped and influenced the youth of their time, and has continued to do this for generations. They always provide an iPod DJ service (with lighting) and can take requests too, for no extra charge.

For smaller or quieter events, we recommend The Mustangs Unplugged: the same musicians, playing the same songs but using acoustic instruments. This is the ideal choice for situations where the volume needs to be lower but the energy still needs to be high! The versatility of The 'Unplugged' option is that the band are not tied to a power supply so they can play inside or out. They are also completely mobile and can move around in between songs with ease.

Whether you book the band "Unplugged" or not, they're able to learn songs on request and give them the full Mustangs treatment.

The Mustangs are in our opinion one of the most unique and quirky wedding bands available in Lancashire and the North West.

What people say Help

  • Wanted to say a big thank you for Saturday night. We had a fantastic evening and everyone commented on how good you guys were. It was all we hoped for and more.

Will, Private Party, Barnsley, February 2017
  • They were absolutely excellent, showed up in good time, set up without a fuss, fit in perfectly with the schedule and played fantastically. The first song they played for us was just as we imagined, and they got everyone up dancing. Couldn't speak more highly of them.

Rik, Wedding, North Yorkshire, January 2017

    Mark, Wedding, Northumberland, November 2016
  • We were extremely please with The Mustangs. The guys were fab, really friendly and they sounded great. They even played our requested song 'Wonderwall' in a swing style which was brilliant and suited our venue and theme. Everyone loved the band and they got everyone on the dance floor. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Sonya & Dan, Wedding, Clitheroe, March 2016
  • The band was excellent. They suited the environment with their flat caps look. The sax and double bass sounded so mellow and the whole band were spot on. People kept asking me where I'd found them and said they were tremendous. Even people in the bar area (i.e. not in our party) were asking about them. Lovely music, great to dance and to listen to. I'd love to hear them again.

Rhian, Birthday Party, Lathom, November 2015
  • The band were prompt, friendly and eager to know if we needed any changes to be made. The style and quality of music was perfect, with a real mix of crowd pleasing music, something for everyone. A brilliant band and we had a brilliant night with everyone dancing and singing along!

    Katie, Wedding, Wirral, July 2015
