Legends of Swing is not only a swing band, but also a soul band and pop band, covering all the party classics from Sinatra, Buble and Elvis through to Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder and more!

With an authentic swing and rat pack sound, as well as an extensive repertoire of classic pop and soul, this band has all the ingredients you need to make your wedding, private or corporate event truly remarkable from the very first note.

An ideal formula is to set the mood in the first part of the evening with a couple of sets of swing, Rat Pack and big band classics, followed by a classic soul and pop set to really get the party cooking!

With knowing certain family members very well, it was a remarkable achievement to see them up on the dance floor, well done! Jan, Wedding, Dorset

Whether you're looking to create a sophisticated background atmosphere, or keep your party dancefloor busy, this band is the perfect musical choice to make your event entertainment really special!

Previous clients of the band include The Dorchester Hotel, the Riverbank Plaza Hotel, London; Chalet des Iles, Paris, Audi, Cadburys and Marks & Spencer.

Band sizes range from a 5-piece to a sensational 10-piece with added female vocals (increases the number of songs available to perform) and full complement of horns (add more horns for a richer, fuller sound).

For more intimate events the act is available as a swing & jazz trio/quartet.

The band also offer their own in-house laptop DJ service, offering pre-recorded background/dancing music through the PA when the band is not playing, for a nominal fee. This saves on the additional space, hassle and cost of hiring in a separate DJ and PA system.

“I just wanted to say thank you for your performance at our wedding at Grafton Manor recently. The songs and the whole performance really complimented the day and many guests have been extremely complimentary about the songs you sang and obviously the way you sang them, a particular favourite seems to be Mr Bojangles! Thank you also for making our first dance so special, I really wish we could do that all over again as I enjoyed it so much, thank you also for bearing with us at the end I think we were both so caught up in the moment and enjoying ourselves that we completely forgot that the song would come to an end!!”

Angela, Wedding, July 2019

“What an incredible day we all had, the phone hasn't stopped ringing today with guests thanking us for such a wonderful day, with many comments on how great the band was, thank you for doing such a magnificent job! We would both like to thank you for helping make our day very special. We loved the rendition of Rod Stewart's "Your in my heart, your in my soul" that you learnt especially for our day. It was certainly the highlight of our day. It was great to see everyone dancing and enjoying themselves. A large number of the guests commented on how good you and your band were, and what a good voice you have. We hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we did.”

Steve, Wedding, June 2018

“Just a quick note to say how very grateful I am for the wonderful performance you guys gave on our wedding day! Now that the dust has settled on the last week and a bit, I have had a chance to speak to people and look at all the photos. Everybody said how much they enjoyed the band and what a nice change it was from the usual disco! Personally, I would like to put on record that you were all highly professional, turned up on time, were flexible in the repertoire, well behaved etc etc (sounding like a school report now!). Also our request for first dance "Fly me to the moon" was excellent. Couldn't have asked for more.”

Dave, Wedding, May 2018

“The band made the party and organised the night to a tee. Thank you for making it such a brilliant night!”

Deborah, Private Party at The Fairway Hotel in Barnsley, February 2018

“Absolutely superb. Well prepared, flexible in approach in the days/weeks leading up to the event, catered perfectly to the composition of the guests and overall just a fantastic sound. Thank you!”

Matthew, Wedding, November 2017
