Versatile 6-piece 1920s and dixieland jazz band from Leeds with an extensive repertoire of instantly recognisable favourites. Perfect for Great Gatsby-style events or garden parties.

The Hot Notes can entertain all ages with its mix of Dixie, Swing, Rat-pack, Broadway and Hollywood classics. The band can dress in traditional waistcoats, dickie bows and boaters or full evening dress and offer both music indoors or outside for weddings, drinks receptions, garden parties, dinners, balls, race meetings, corporate hospitality and charity events. “Some call it ‘mad-cap nonsense’. We prefer ‘organised mayhem’!

The band takes very little time and space to set up for outdoor gigs and can also provide a full PA system and lights for larger events.

What people say Help

  • Thank you all so much for your amazing performance on Saturday evening, which was everything I could have hoped for! Your music was brilliant, got everyone up dancing and I can’t tell you how many people told me afterwards 'how brilliant the 1920s band were’. As soon as you played your first song I knew we’d struck gold! It couldn’t have been more perfect given the whole Gatsby theme and everyone so dressed up, so thank you all so much. You may be interested to know that we raised an astonishing £7,000 on the night! With just 96 people in the room…amazing! I'll not hesitate to recommend you if anyone should ask me for a fabulous 20’s Jazz Band!

  • Thank you so much for playing at our party at Low Farm; it just topped off the event so wonderfully - everyone said so. I'd like to hear your Yorkshire 1920s band again if it is nearby - I'll bring the sunshine with me hopefully. Take care and best wishes to you all.
