“Fantastic, just what we expected as they also played at our wedding in 2013. A huge thank you to the band for helping to make the evening such a success.”

Jonathan, 40th birthday, The Mulberry Inn in Chiddingfold, August 2019

“Great band and easy to arrange. Good value too.”

David, Wedding, Ramster Hall in Surrey, December 2018

“We wanted to thank the band very much indeed for the fabulous show they put on at our wedding on 15 December at Ramster Hall. Communication was great beforehand and then their arrival and set up was really discreet. Their rendition of 'Tennessee Whiskey' for our first dance was very special and the music afterwards fantastic. Our guests took a little while to warm up and then filled the dancefloor! Many of them commented on the band so I have passed on your name and hopefully they will book you as well. Thank you x”

David & Lydia, Wedding at Ramster Hall, December, 2018

“The band were excellent and kept us dancing right until the end of the night! Their set list included something for everyone, and even with the lovely summer's evening tempting people outside, the crowd-pleasers form the band kept drawing everyone back in for some serious dancing! Thank you for helping to make our day so much fun!”

Chris & Helen, Wedding at Cripps Barn in Bibury, July 2018

“A Girl Called Sue absolutely blew our minds! From their discreet set up, to amazing sets, accommodating our first dance song and generally having our dance floor full all night, they delivered everything we wanted from a wedding band. We cannot begin to thank them or Function Central enough. I would highly advise them to anyone who is looking for a high quality covers band. Simply amazing!”

Alex & Gina, Wedding, Wiltshire, June 2018

“The band was incredible. The lead singer was absolutely amazing. They had so much energy, and were friendly and professional! I couldn’t recommend them enough. I will certainly be booking them for the next event! They made the party what it was!”

Olivia, 30th Birthday Party at Ashford Cricket Club in Kent, June 2018

“What a brilliant performance! Catered for tastes of young and old. Got people dancing all evening. Especially liked their Motown numbers.”

Ian, Wedding in London, September 2017

“They performed for me at my 50th birthday party and they were fantastic. They interacted well with the audience. The vocalist was particularly good. I would highly recommend them for any event, particularly where you have several age groups. The jazz set whilst we were eating was very enjoyable too. Thank you for making my party special.”

Tracey, 50th Birthday Party in Surrey, September 2017

“A Girl Called Sue were brilliant! From the sophisticated jazz set for everyone to arrive to through until the last song when everyone was on the floor. There was not a single person who didn't dance! Even my 72 year old dad was up & he has never been seen on a dance floor! Both the band & Function Central made the booking easy & smooth. Thank you to you all!”

Liz, Wedding at Ognisko Ballroom in South Kensington, September 2017

“Performed for us at our wedding and was absolutely fantastic! Had everyone up and dancing, extremely friendly and interactive with everyone. Felt like a friend was singing for us rather than a hired band. Couldn't have asked for better thank you guys so much.”

Toby, Wedding in London, June 2017

“A Girl Called Sue were an amazing wedding band and had our guests dancing and singing all night. The feedback has been really good and we would recommend them again and again!!”

Chris, Wedding at Three Choirs Vineyard in Hampshire, May 2017

“I just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had at our birthday party on Saturday night with the band, 'A Girl Called Sue'. From start to finish they were brilliant to deal with. In the lead up to the party I had a call from the band to discuss any songs that we would particularly like or type of music we enjoyed listening and dancing to. They turned up on time, were discreet in setting up, played brilliantly all night (including a fantastic dinner jazz set) and were a huge hit with our party goers and us. I would not hesitate to book them again and I would certainly recommend them to anyone wanting a live band that can perform for all age groups and tastes in music. Thank you very much indeed.”

Louise & Ed, Birthday Party in Essex, September 2016

“A Girl Called Sue were absolutely awesome - we loved every minute and the dancefloor was never empty!”

Charlotte, Wedding in London, August 2016

“Firstly, we would like to say thanks to all at Function Central for organising the band for our wedding on 7th October. The booking process was faultless and everything ran smoothly on the day. We would very much like to pass on our thanks to A Girl Called Sue who made our wedding reception go with a swing from the first note of the jazz set to the closing number at the end of the evening. The band were great fun, provided an entertaining mix of songs and had people on the dance floor throughout. We would not hesitate to recommend them, and we would book them again without hesitation. Many thanks for making our wedding day complete.”

Joanne & Steve, Wedding in Reading, October 2014

“A Girl Called Sue performed at our Son's wedding last Saturday. They did an outstanding job for us and we received lots of compliments from our guests. Personally I loved the music and the professionalism of the band members. They were a major part of our evening celebrations and it was so important that they did a good job for us, well they didn't, they did a superb and outstanding job! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and to recommend Function Central who made the booking of the band so easy. So, again, thank you so much and all the best for the future.”

Robin, Wedding in Hampshire, August 2014

“An absolutely MASSIVE thank you to A Girl Called Sue for the fantastic music at our wedding reception at the Mansion, Port Lympne on 24th May 2014. You guys were absolutely brilliant and exactly what we had been looking for! The evening jazz set was perfect to set the mood during the evening drinks reception. The two live sets later in the evening were fantastic and had everyone up and dancing - no matter how old or young! And the DJ sets kept the party going all evening. The mix of music and performances were just brilliant and so many of our guests commented on how great you all were. You really made the evening - thank you all so much for being part of our wedding day!”
