  As you know, Starlight grants wishes of a lifetime for seriously and terminally ill children and entertains over 500,000 children in hospitals and hospices throughout the UK. • Hell Runner is one of the UK's most distinctive off-road running events and as the organiser I was seeking to add a little something extra in terms of the whole atmosphere and experience. The Merry-Makers Trio were absolutely perfect! Embracing their most unusual outdoor setting for a performance (deep in the forest) they provided a compelling and 'cool' sound that put smiles on the runners' and spectators faces alike. • I have no hesitation in recommending the The Merry-Makers Steel Band Solo Pannist who played at a party I gave in June 2009. All the guests were delighted with the music and being lovely weather, it was the perfect accompaniment. One person said if they had not known it was Hampshire they would have thought they were in the Caribbean!
